Pure Shea Butter 

Shea butter possesses a high content of unsaponifiable matter i.e. essential fatty acids that make it an interesting butter for pharmaceutical and cosmetics preparations.

Shea butter also contains vitamin A2 (also known as retinol), which will help to regenerate mature damaged skin, vitamin D, which promotes the absorption of calcium, vitamin E (tocopherol) natural anti-oxidant known to slow down the aging and anti-inflammatory of the skin; and vitamin F (essential fatty acids including linoleic acid) which regulates the hydration of the skin by preventing water from evaporating and protects against external aggressions. Shea butter will allow the skin to regain its elasticity especially during dry and cold and retain moisture. The butter is fully absorbed and leaves a slight satin film that will protect the skin without being grassy. Shea butter is the ideal friend chapped and cracked hands and lips. It will nourish the skin and help it heal.

In massage for the body or added to bath water Shea butter will give a feeling of well-being. Shea butter can also be used for baby massage and become a moment of calm and privileged complicity between mother and child.

What We Do

We specialize in improving the quality of shea butter, sale and export for higher return for its partner groups of rural women in Mali. In full operation, Karite Mali employs 15 permanent people, mainly women and thirty temporary jobs per month also from women groups, producers of shea butter. The net profit of the company is shared as follows: 1/3 for the women groups; 1/3 for Karite Mali, and 1/3 for the expansion of the company and its investors.

We markets a range of shea butter based products. These products are the improved unrefined shea butter, soap and Shea-based ointment. Our main activity is to remain a reliable source of supply of improved but natural shea butter to large cosmetic companies.  The improved Shea butter from Mali (Dioila) has been declared the best natural shea butter during the last Shea summit in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso.
